Epsilon C5I, Inc. is a team of nearly 150 experienced engineers and intelligence professionals that provide software development, systems engineering, cyber security, and training solutions to support Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat systems, and Intelligence (C5I) systems.

KAB Laboratories Inc. (KAB) was founded in 1986 by directors John Konotchick and Paul Buote in San Diego, CA. The company grew rapidly and specialized in full software life-cycle and systems engineering support. The workforce was a blend of experienced operators and skilled Cyber Security Work Force-compliant engineers.

Epsilon Systems sought to facilitate the development and expansion of its own software development and cyber security capabilities, and acquired KAB in February, 2012. As a wholly owned subsidiary, KAB Laboratories kept its KAB namesake for continuity while it provided outstanding service to its many customers. Over the years, the KAB subsidiary evolved to deliver more specialized products and services, and continued to build and serve a customer portfolio that was more aligned with Epsilon Systems.

In 2021, KAB became Epsilon C5I, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. The new name, logo, and updated brand was developed for KAB to better reflect the role that Epsilon C5I plays within the Epsilon Systems family.
