Compact Aircraft Support Cart (CASC)

The CASC footprint is approximately 2'H x 2'W x 4'L. The unit is comprised of three primary distribution capabilities consisting of Bleed Air and AC & DC Power. CASC also has civilian, non-military capabilities for helicopters. Several units have been sold domestically to government customers and internationally through foreign military sales and direct commercial sales. Before the Agusta Westland presidential helicopter program was cancelled, CASC was tested and approved as the HMX groups' preferred ground support equipment.

  • Aircraft power-on capabilities
  • 115VAC at 400Hz
  • 28V DC up to 800 Amp
  • "Huffer" Air-Start

Logistics Support

By utilizing common, logistically supported – National Stock Numbers (NSNs) - aircraft parts, the CASC unit provides maximum logistics commonality with rotary aircraft in the U.S. Military Inventory.

Convenience & Simplicity

The CASC unit measures approximately 2x2x4 and is completely detachable from its secured transporter. Weighing approximately 500lbs. and designed with integrated lifting handles, the CASC can be easily transported to and from a HUMVEE or rotary aircraft and back to its transporter with only 4 people.

Multi-mission Support

The simplicity of operation, reduced maintenance, and maximum portability make CASC the perfect support equipment for any mission platform:

  • Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART)
  • Medical Evacuation
  • Firefighting
  • Resupply
  • Reconnaissance

Proven Performance

Previously deployed with Special Operation Units, the CASC unit has been hooked up to, provided AC and DC ground power to, and started the following helicopters:

  • APACHE at Ft. Eustis, VA
  • HH60 at NAS Norfolk, VA
  • MH60, Task Force, Campbell, KY
  • S-92, Sikorsky Corp.
  • VH-71 Presidential Helicopter

O2 Servicing Cart

Selected as the prime contractor, Epsilon assisted in design but took the lead role in assembly and testing of 246 Aircraft Oxygen Servicing Carts in support of NAVIR 2005-2007. The carts are three-wheeled trailer mounted units designed for use at US Navy and Marine Corps facilities ashore and afloat to replenish aircraft gaseous oxygen systems, emergency oxygen systems and bailout bottles and seat pans. (CPARS attached). We're looking to continue supporting random replacement orders as well as establish overhaul/refurbishment programs.
